Welcome to the Douglas Boat House, our family’s favorite place to gather, unwind and spend time together. We designed this home to be comfortable, easy to enjoy and filled with thoughtful touches that make group travel feel simple. Every guest receives full access to both houses, giving your group plenty of space to cook, relax and reconnect. It means a lot to us that families choose the Douglas Boat House for milestone moments and we work hard to make every stay feel special.
Located in a Quiet Residential Street
The Douglas Boat House sits in a calm neighborhood that still keeps you close to everything we personally love about Douglas and Saugatuck. The walk to the beach is quick and peaceful and the Root Beer Barrel, Just Add Water and local shops are all an easy stroll from the front door. We chose this location because it feels friendly and relaxed yet still gives guests direct access to the best parts of the lakeshore. It is a place where mornings start slow, days fill up naturally and evenings settle in with the sound of lake air and good company.
A ten minute walk or a short bike ride, with Oval Beech less than a five minute drive.
