How do I find the Wi-Fi Password?
It is located on the bulletin board in the kitchen. There are also wifi porters to log in around the boathouse.
Is there a First Aid Kit?
Yes, it is in the kitchen closet along with an emergency kit for power outages.
Where is the nearest emergency room/hospital?
Holland Hospital. Directions to the hospital are in the first aid kit. Important emergency information is also on the card in the office.
How do I get to Douglas Beach from the house?
Take Center Street (one block North of house). Turn left and follow
Center Street to Lakeshore Drive. You will run into the beach. Approximately one mile. It is a nice 15-minute walk to the beach.
How do I get to Oval Beach from the house?
Leave the house and go to Ferry Street. Cross over Center Street and Follow the signs to Oval Beach/Mount Baldhead.
What is Mount Baldhead?
A terrific place to see a beautiful view of Saugatuck. There are only 302 steps to the top- a good workout for those who dare.
Where can we rent bikes?
Just Add Water. Located almost right behind the Boathouse on the corner Of Ferry and Center Street.

Trash pick-up is on Mondays. PLEASE TAKE THE CANS OUT TO THE END OF THE DRIVEWAY ON SUNDAY NIGHT. THEY PICK UP VERY EARLY ON MONDAYS.

- The kitchen is fully stocked with many sm/med/large pots/pans as well as table service for over 20 people
- The coffee bar is fully stocked with coffee, sugar, creamer, and mugs. Please be sure to put lids on coffee pots before brewing or you will have a big mess to clean up. Please do not throw out the filters, they just need a rinse every use. In the Keeper’s House there is a Keurig.
- We have recently added a new propane grill please leave it the way you found it for future guests.
- There is a large crock pot underneath the basement sink. (Please clean after use)
- There is free firewood for our guests to use.
- Board games and puzzles can be found in drawer in living room and lower level.
- The shuffleboard table weights/pucks and wax are in bin over the game room countertop. Please do not leave the wax out without adult supervision. And please remind the kids not to run their fingers down the table. I need to remind my kids every time we are there. Please return the wax and weights/pucks to the bin before you leave.
- All game room supplies are in the labeled bins. Please be sure to return all items to their appropriate bins at checkout.
- All tv’s are smart tv’s that are loaded with boathouse accounts for most streaming services. Please do not change the account settings.
- Beach chairs, outdoor games, and fire starters can be found in the shed on the patio
- Gig-speed WiFi is provided throughout the property. Password can be found on the board
